Diana Torres is a Colombian designer from Pereira, Risaralda, and the founder of CRISÁLIDA. Her work brings together feminine elegance, the richness of artisan craft and a personal vision of exclusivity.
A dental technician by profession, Diana discovered in jewelry design a passion that won her over thirteen years ago. Her manual skill and attention to detail led her to study goldsmithing, giving shape to her wish to create unique, elegant accessories with personality. Since then she has built her path in design on her own, guided by curiosity and sensitivity, until her creative universe grew to include clothing, hats, bags and other accessories.
Inspired by nature, femininity, the richness of handcraft and the experiences of her travels, Diana creates pieces that stand out for their colorful prints, their artisan character and an elegance with its own identity. Every design is born from her sensitivity and her wish to offer women something special that expresses their individuality.
As the creator of CRISÁLIDA, Diana conceives every design and personally makes a range of accessories, also working with workshops and artisans in Colombia who bring her garments, part of her jewelry, bags and hats to life. Every hat passes through her hands: she designs its artistic concept and paints it by hand, caring for every detail. When a client wishes for a personalized piece, Diana listens to her ideas and interprets them through her creative sensitivity — in hats, as well as in some jewelry pieces and belts. What she finds most special about creating personalized pieces is bringing to life something a woman feels is truly hers, where her story and her style find expression in the design.
Her bond with artisan work also has a human purpose: helping to create work and livelihoods for the families who take part in her creations.
For Diana, luxury is expressed in the singularity of a piece, in the care of its details and in the hands that give it life. Through CRISÁLIDA, her vision is to help every woman feel feminine, elegant and unique, with designs that make her style an authentic expression of who she is.
